The boat-up loop
- Launch in Oyama. Free shallow launch on the Wood Lake side. Park, slide the board in, paddle.
- Paddle a kilometre or three. Find a quiet cove, drift, swim, come back.
- Beach in front of the grill. Nose the board onto the sand. No dock needed.
- Walk to the window. Order at the counter. Bag's hot in ten.
- Eat on the patio. Board drying ten feet away, sand on the floor, lake in front.
- Soft-serve for the paddle back. Cone for the road, twist if you can't decide.
