Right on the beach in Oyama, BC, on the narrow strip of land between Wood Lake and Kalamalka Lake. About 20 minutes north of Kelowna airport and 15 minutes south of Vernon, in the community of Lake Country.
What are your hours?
Open daily through lake season: Saturday and Sunday 9 a.m. to 8 p.m., Monday to Friday 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Mondays are pizza and hard/soft ice cream only. Lake season runs roughly May long weekend through Thanksgiving.
Do you take reservations?
No. We're counter-service, walk up, order, grab a spot in the sand.
Is there parking?
There's a small lot beside the building and street parking nearby. On hot weekends it fills up fast, so most folks walk, bike, or paddle in.
Can I get there by boat?
Yes. Pull up on the Wood Lake side and beach your boat, SUP, kayak or canoe right in front of us. No dock, it's a sand beach landing.
Can I bike there on the rail trail?
Yes. The Okanagan Rail Trail runs right past us. We've got a bike rack and cold drinks waiting.
