How we handle your info.

Who we are

This website is operated by Lu Lou's Lakeside Grill & Chill, in Oyama, British Columbia, Canada. "We", "our" and "us" mean the business.

What we collect, and why

We collect three things, all only when you give them to us:

• Order info, your name, phone number, pickup time, and what you ordered, when you place an order on our Order page. We use it to make and hand you your food.
• Contact form info, your name, email, and message, when you reach out through our Contact page. We use it to write back.
• Email-list signups, your email, if you ask to hear about openings, drops, or specials. You can unsubscribe from any email we send you.

We don't collect anything from you just by visiting the site. No tracking pixels, no third-party advertising cookies.

What we do with it

Make your food. Write you back. Send you the occasional update if you asked us to. That's it. We don't sell or share your information with anyone outside the small handful of services that help us run the business, for example, the email or order-form provider we use to actually receive your messages. Those services are bound by their own privacy policies.

How long we keep it

Order info: kept for the day, then deleted from active systems within seven days. Contact-form info: kept as long as it's useful to the conversation, then deleted. Email-list info: kept as long as you're subscribed.

Your rights

You can ask us to show you what we have on file, correct it, or delete it. Email us through the Contact page and we'll do it within thirty days, no questions.

Cookies

The only cookie this site sets is a local-storage entry that remembers what's in your order cart on the Order page so it survives a page refresh. It never leaves your browser. We don't use Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or third-party tracking.

Updates

If we change this policy in a meaningful way, we'll change the "last updated" date below and note what changed.
